PTCL is the largest broadband service provider in the country and has acquired over 500,000 broadband users in 600 cities and towns, thereby leading the proliferation and awareness of Broadband services across Pakistan. Not only this, to cater to the diversified needs of its broadband subscribers across the country, PTCL introduced WiFi modems with its fixed line broadband service. The WiFi modems provides customers with the convenience to move around freely and enjoy secure wireless high speed broadband connectivity with in their homes matched by none other wireless broadband service provider.
PTCL Broadband service has achieved another milestone by doubling its broadband data rate speed by introducing a new 8MBPS package, which is effective from July 15, 2010. In addition to the new package, all existing 2MBPS and 4MBPS customers have been upgraded to 4MBPS and 6MBPS data rate respectively on the same tariff. This makes PTCL as the highest data rate broadband service provider in the country.
Understanding the pressing needs of technology oriented era, Pakistan Telecommunication Company LTD (PTCL) has joined hands with USF to promote the development of telecom services (Broadband) in the un-served and under-served areas throughout the length and breadth of the country.
SEVP Commercial Naveed Saeed told that many broadband projects in the central and South regions are underway for the provisioning and availability of speedy, uninterrupted broadband services to our valuedconsumers, educational institutes and community centers at highly affordable rates.
EVP Multimedia and Broadband Zomma Mohiuddin said PTCL introduced a number of initiatives and value added services to its broadband product portfolio not only to ensure fast proliferation and growth of broadband service but also has joined hands with USF to ensure the availability of the service to our valued customers in far flung areas of the country.
